LAW
Follow-up Master´s study of subject Law is studied according to study program of Law Faculty at Janek Jesenský University in Sládkovičkova Street. It is designated for Bachelor´s study graduates from subject Law administrative in business sphere at Banking Institute University.
Master´s study lasts for 4 semesters and it is finished with state exam and obtaining of the title Mgr. (Master of Law). The state exam includes pleating of diploma´s essay. Study is organized by Banking Institute University and will take place in Prague´s seat of this University. Study will be secured by Czech teachers, in exceptional cases also the teachers from Janek Jesenský University can participate in the program. Exams from particular subjects will be ensured by these subject´s teachers.
Master´s study will begin in winter semester of Academic year 2009/10. Auditors will be students of Janek Jesenský University. During the time of study there will be put accent on Czech and European Law, during tuition based on Slovakian law, there will be comparison between Czech and Slovakian law given. Graduating of this study is opening an opportunity to find assertion in all law professions found in the Czech Republic.
Condition for admission for study is passing of differential semester during which there will be, in several blocks, subjects which were not included in Bachelor´s study of subject „Law administrative in business sphere“ taught or were, from the Master´s study point of view, not included sufficiently. Differential semester will be passed by auditors in terms of whole-life learning at Banking Institute University.
In terms of differential semester these subjects will be taught:
a) European law history in extent of 20 hours of tutorial lectures,
b) Law informatics in extent of 10 hours of tutorial lectures,
c) Latin, Latin law terminology in extent of 20 hours of tutorial lectures,
d) Family law in extent of 10 hours of tutorial lectures,
e) Constitutional law and constitutional systems in extent of 10 hours of tutorial lectures,
f) Administrative law in extent of 10 hours of tutorial lectures.
After admission for Master´s study auditors will pass differential exams from listed subjects. For subjects based on Slovakian law above mentioned remark is valid..
